The Atheme project is a loosely knit group of coders that coordinate mostly over IRC. All development is done in Mercurial repositories, primarily in C.
Both multimedia and IRC software has been produced, such as:
- Audacious (a media player, originally a fork of Beep Media Player classic)
- Atheme (an IRC services package used by networks such as FreeNode & StaticBox)
- Charybdis (an IRCd that is currently used by networks such as StaticBox & Sorcery.net)
- Conspire (an IRC client, forked from X-Chat)
- NASPRO (NASPRO Architecture for Sound PROcessing, a sound processing framework)
