There are lot of providers in Eclipse Communication Framework which are implementing various communication protocols such as MSN, Yahoo, Twitter, IRC, XMPP, XMPPS, etc and VoIP protocol implementing providers such as Skype. SIP is another famous and emerging VoIP protocol which supports many functionalities such as VoIP, IM, etc. This project is focused on implementing a Provider which supports VoIP fucntionality using SIP protocol. This provider will be licensed under Eclipse Public License and the code base will be available for the Eclipse Communication Framework codebase.
